Well, I went to Venice (Venezia) on Saturday. We left the train station from Bologna at about 8:00 AM and arrived in Venice at 10:00 AM. Those trains pick up speed in a hurry. I slept through most of the way there and back. It was very tiring just being there. There were so many people there because of the Carnivale di Venezia, some big holiday they have every year. 
It lasts for about 10 days. I think the last day for it is this coming Tuesday. Anyway, everybody dresses up in costumes and masks and parade around the streets to see the sites. 
Our group left fairly early, but most people stay all night till like 6 or 7 in the morning drinking and singing and everything else. There were also theatrical performances in some places but you had to pay to get in. While I was there, I bought a mask, a couple of cheap paintings of Venice, and an Italia hoodie. But the pictu
res I took are probly my best souvenir. I took about 40 pictures on this trip but Im only going to leave you with a few.

I'm so jealous! Your pictures are amazing though. I guess I will have to live my Italy adventure vicariously through your blog and pictures. Sucks for me huh!
